Courtney Abrams
Courtney Abrams joined the firm in August 2010. Her practice is in the area of employment and civil litigation, including wage and hour and consumer class actions.
Ms. Abrams received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2009, and her B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles in 2003, where she majored in Economics, and minored in English Literature.
During law school, Ms. Abrams worked for the ACLU of Southern California on federal cases involving wrongful deportation, mental health and prison reform, and clerked in the office of the Los Angeles County Public Defender. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Terry Hatter, Jr., U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. In addition, Ms. Abrams clerked at the civil rights firm, Hadsell, Stormer, Keeny, Richardson and Renick where she worked on employment discrimination cases. Ms. Abrams was a member of the Public Interest Law Society, and the Women's Law Association. Ms. Abrams was also a recipient of the Public Interest Law Foundation Grant in 2007 and 2008.
Ms. Abrams is admitted to practice in California State and federal courts.
